High Stakes February Rankings: Cole South Up $2 Million

Cole South has earned nearly $2 million in February at the nosebleed stakes. PostflopAction pocketed just over $1.5 million and third place on the list of biggest winners went to Tom "durrrr" Dwan, who recorded a profit of $1 million.

High stakes poker action in February saw the return of Isildur1. Mostly taking a shot at the Pot Limit Omaha tables, he ended the month up by $200k.

While Isildur1 made only a brief appearance at the tables, other pros were active throughout the whole month. According to Highstakesdb, Cole South got the best of this action, working his way to the top of the list of biggest winners in February.

South tops the leaderboard

South recorded a profit of nearly $2 million after having played 19,802 hands in 203 sessions. With half a million less in his pocket, PostflopAction found himself in 2nd place with 28,480 hands played across 496 sessions.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan has had a good month as well, ending February up by $1 million. He played 49,742 hands in 787 sessions. Other names on the list of biggest winners include likes of Phil Ivey, Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond and the man who bested durrrr in his last year's Live durrrr Challenge in London - Marcello "luckexpress10" Marigliano.

Townsend takes lowest spot

A deficit of nearly $1.3 million was the lowest point achieved in February, as Brian Townsend shipped that amount to his opponents. He played a total of 22,132 hands across 427 sessions, making him one of the more active players in the past month.

Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies lost around $872k after having played 17,753 hands in 255 sessions. Meanwhile, the burden of third place fell on Brian Hastings' shoulders, who now has $795k less in his pocket.
