The prolific nosebleed legend and 'retiree' just won the opening $2,100 event of the PokerStars series, as you would expect him to.
He overcame a field of 442 players including a final table that featured Sylvain 'calculer_' Loosli and Patrick 'pleno1' Leonard to take down the $178,498 first prize.
We often talk about Fedor's live success with $26,548,871 in cashes and a huge trophy cabinet, but his online form is obviously world class too. In 2015 he was the PocketFives tournament leader for a while and among his many big results he has two seven-figure online scores, one in the WCOOP Super High Roller and another for winning the WCOOP Main Event.
So arguably an average day for the player who has to be universally considered the best overall No Limit tournament player in world right now.
