Laurent Tapie says deal with DOJ signed in 15 days
IGamingFrance yesterday reported that Laurent Tapie has confirmed an agreement has been made in principle between Groupe Bernard Tapie and the US Department Of Justice.
The deal will enable the French group to take over Full Tilt Poker and start the lengthy process of paying back FTP players.
While Tapie was not forthcoming about the method in which players will be repaid, it appears that some kind of resolution is imminent.
Tapie confirmed, "we will draft an agreement by the end of the week and should sign it within the next 15 days, and we will issue a statement shortly after that will provide more information".

PokerScout numbers
It’s been a while since we took a look at online poker traffic, so with the latest numbers in from PokerScout, now seems as good a time as any.
Last week saw PokerStars expand their dominance at the top with a 6% increase, mainly thanks to their 70 Billionth hand promotion.
PartyPoker maintained its slender advantage over iPoker at number two, and the year to date figures highlight 888poker and Bodog as the fastest growing networks.
High stakes corner
The past 24 hours has seen some reasonable action over at PokerStars. "moirhums" was the day's biggest winner, banking $119,367 according to HSDB.
At the other end of the scale "0Human0" and Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane were made to suffer the most, losing $106,970 and $101,831 respectively.
Meanwhile over in Baden, a €300,000 PLO pot was reported by Hochgepokert. The action has been fast and furious and it appears that Theo Jorgenson was the big winner from the game.
