PokerStrategy Community Round-up
Welcome to the news round-up for the English Community (#9). Each week, EagleStar88 will keep you in touch with some of the most important threads within the forum together with some of the fun posts, so that you never need to miss them.
Our Community Round-up is your weekly source for all that happens inside the PokerStrategy forums. If you missed something last week and you still want to be in touch with our community, here are some of the most important posts. This is just one of many community-related projects being set up.
I just can't get over the quality of blogs that we have in the English Community and this weeks is another cracker. Don't believe me, well read it yourself and enjoy. 🙂
We've all been called a few names whilst at the tables, the vast majority of which I couldn't possibly reproduce here of course, but community member davinci5 was surprised to see himself referred to as a bot recently. Perhaps even more surprising is that his opponent still didn't seem convinced even after davinci5 started responding to him.
Apparantly, according to the opponent, it's not humanly possible to multi-table 16 tables at once...... quick, someone better warn Boku that it's not possible before he wins another $10,000 in under 2 weeks whilst 50 tabling.
Thread here for complete story.

Spotlight on erptech, interviewed by eaglestar88.
PokerStrategy: Hi erptech thanks for agreeing to an interview for the community.
erptech: Hi.
erptech: My name is Mislav, I'm from Croatia. 25 years old, currently unemployed, taking a break from life, work, study, and girlfriends. Playing poker is part of my rehabilitation program. I'm a quiet laid back type of person but on weekends I become a fun loving party animal. 🙂
PokerStrategy: How did your nickname come about, does it have any special meaning?
erptech: Well, erptech was the name of my business that I started 3 years ago, so as I was all excited about it I used that name pretty much everywhere. But Earp is my nickname from.. erm always?.. and it basically comes from my last name.
PokerStrategy: Ah I see. How long have you been playing poker?
erptech: Exactly 1 year and 20 days.
First I was gambling on bwin casino, spinning roulette and slots. Then I saw poker link and somehow i wanted to try it out. When I tried it out it was more or less love at first click. Then I said that to my friend and he instantly sent me his TAF link :D. Ofc I was thrilled to get the $50.
PokerStrategy: Wow, happy 1 year and 20 days anniversary, lol "love at first click" I like it 🙂
How would you describe your poker style?
erptech: Agressive, with a dash of jump-to-conclusions-but-most-of-the-time-work-out-fine-thingy, type of style.
I play NL50, heavily overrolled. Although i should be on at least NL100 by now, I just can't deal with it yet.
PokerStrategy: Do you ever play any live events?
erptech: I played few sit n' go's in casino, but nothing big yet, however i plan to, very soon, maybe to participate in Croatian national league when it starts.
PokerStrategy: Nice, that would be cool. Can you remember what happened to the PokerStrategy $50? Did you lose it early on or is it still in your current bankroll somewhere?
erptech: That was pretty much a gift from pokerstrategy to some shark on nl100, can't really remember his name. :/
PokerStrategy: What has been your biggest success/achievement in poker so far?
erptech: Biggest tournament win $1,200, and my overall amassed sum of money that I find quite impressive for doing "no work".
PokerStrategy: Favourite poker pro?
erptech: Gus Hansen, because most of other pros say he is unpredictable, hard to read and are often feeling uncomfortable, afraid of playing against him.
PokerStrategy: If you had the opportunity of playing a final table with a selection of people of your choice, who would be seated there with you?
erptech: 1seednoir1, cardbender, hlynkinn, sidewalker, Jessica Alba, Charlise Theron, Scarlet Johansson, Eva Longoria, Catherine Zeta-Jones
PokerStrategy: Wow, some good looking talented people there, and the girls aren't bad either 😉
Is there anyone in particular from the community you'd like to give a shout out to?
erptech: that would be Sidewalker, who is currently working with me, helping me with finding my leaks.
PokerStrategy: Nice. I think I already know this, but what is/are your passion(s) outside of poker?
erptech: Music... :), DJing, but I can no longer financially justify spending night playing music comparing to poker. However me and my friend o/ Yuri o/ http://www.myspace.com/soundsofyuri are starting some projects with music production involved so we'll see where will that get us.
PokerStrategy: Cool, well i know that we are all grateful for the DJ'ing you did for PokerStrategy, was great fun.
Is there anything you would like to add or say to your fellow community members before we finish?
erptech: I want to announce that we will need some great players for next season of BOTD, to join team Judgernaut. We will organise a small series of tournaments for you to qualify. We need the best of the best of the best. Full staking included for skilled winners.
PokerStrategy: You heard it here first folks, keep an eye on the forum and be sure to say hi to erptech next time you see him. Many thanks for your time erptech, we all wish you continued success with your poker.
erptech: Thank you, good luck everyone.

The
Anagram it post was started by community member "Ace Fresh Johnnies", can you guess who that is yet? You might know him better as "D-Coys".As always, this is your Community page and whilst I try to browse most forum threads looking for points of interest, it's of course not possible to cover everything. So go on, drop me some suggestions and/or your thoughts on what you would like to appear in this Round-up news item in the following feedback thread.
