WSOP November Nine: Interviews with Final Three and Where to Follow the Action

Of a near record-breaking 6,865 entrants, just three players remain at the felt to compete for the most coveted prize in poker - not to mention a payday of $8,715,638. Chip leader Pius Heinz is well on the way to becoming the first German WSOP Main Event winner, with over half the chips in play.

What happened so far?
When play began, Czech poker pro Martin Staszko was the chip leader, closely followed by Eoghan O'Dea. Sam Holden was the short stack, albiet with more than 24 big blinds - just one double-up away from second or third place.
WSOP November Nine: And Then There Were Three
Despite his best efforts, Holden ran his A-J into Ben Lamb's A-K to bust in ninth place. He was followed by Anton Makiievskyi before the token amateur, Badih Bounahra, fell in the seventh spot to uproarious noise from his cheering section. O'Dea had taken a hit on the wrong end of an A-Q versus Q-Q confrontation against Pius Heinz and was eliminated by Ben Lamb in sixth.
Phil Collins was next to exit after what many railbirds considered a disappointing performance, leaving us with four players remaining on the "Tuesday bubble". True to form, it was Ben Lamb who stepped up to end play for the night, hitting quad kings in a dramatic hand against WPT champion Matt Giannetti to eliminate him in fourth place.
