"Phil Ivey went broke" - Bilzerian's controversial claim

After the calm of Day 1A a total of 710 players took to the floor on Day 1B of this year's PCA Main Event, pushing the overall field beyond the 1,000 player mark.
With Dylan Hortin's chip marker the target for everyone in the room, a rush of action ensued as the day got underway and caught up in the early chip deluge was a number of pros, including Barry Greenstein and Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier.
As more notables hit the rail it was Shankar Pillai who seized the chip lead before the close of play thanks to a 173,900 chip haul.
Also making it through the session and on to Day 2 was the likes of Noah Boeken (122,200), Vanessa Selbst (76,700) and recent PCA Super High Roller champion, Fabian 'fabstinho' Quoss (5,800).

If you're inclined to believe everything Dan Bilzerian says (and we're not saying that you should), then Phil Ivey has blown his bankroll and so has Tom 'durrrr' Dwan.
When asked about his view of the poker community in a recent interview, Dan stated that he thinks it's a "kind of degenerate group" and people tend to think they can win money forever.
He then goes on to say that the same mindset led to the demise of Dwan as well as Ivey who "just went broke".
The comment quickly reverberated across the poker community, but when Daniel Negreanu was asked about the situation he was quick to defend his friend and say that Ivey is doing "just fine".
Could Dan be telling the truth or it is another tall tale? Maybe the only way to settle it is a high stakes heads-up match.

Added to the software during the festive period, the new feature is designed to help heads-up SNG players improve their short stack play.
At present that latest update includes charts for the following situations: NASH_Call, NASH_Push, NASH_Push_Call and the ROFL_System (what to do with 12BBs or less).
HM2 users can make use of these charts by adding them to their stats as a pop-up.

A relatively quiet day at the virtual felt on Wednesday meant that 'mikki696' and '2Ari Gold' were the day's only six-figure winners. While the latter was able to overtake 'Doorbread' and finish as the session's second biggest winner, it was 'mikki696' who topped the table with a $121,203 haul.
At the other end of the spectrum it was rough day for Gus Hansen and Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom as each lost yet more money. For Blom the session meant a $119,526 hole in his bankroll, while for Hansen it meant another $149,204 loss.
