Thank you very much for contacting us and allowing us the opportunity to
address your concerns.
In this particular video, the hacker is simply editing the video to make
it appear that he can predict hidden cards - predictions that are wrong
whenever the hand does not go to showdown.
To make a metaphor, if you go to a bank, and make a deposit, you
typically receive a receipt. If you change the receipt to pretend that
you deposited $1million, it doesn't create $1million in you account, and
the same thing is happening here.
The player is editing the information displayed on their screen, to
simply change what it looks like in a screenshot. That doesn't change
the cards that were really dealt to them in that game, or allow him to
see anyone else's cards.
For example, in the first hand, where he shows the losing player 'WEC46'
holding Ace-King... that's simply not true. That hand was hand #
26675549433 (which you can see easily if you watch the video in high
definition), and the player names match up. However, 'WEC46's cards are
wrong -- not Ace-King.
In the next hand (26675293330) where the video maker held 5-4, his
software predicted that 'Jermein' held deuce-seven and that 'Gieremek65'
held eight-three -- also both horribly wrong "predictions".
In the next hand where the video maker had 99, his software continues to
make wrong predictions, in hand 26675597464. Not one of the 4
predictions it made was correct.
These inaccuracies continue throughout his video. Not once does he ever
accurately predict unseen, folded cards.
What happened here is a "replay". The player has written a program
that tricks the PokerStars software into displaying replays of prior
hands -- after some information (like the fact that 'david_maud' won
with pocket queens) has been made known. Any information that was
*never* displayed at the table when the hand originally happened (such
as folded cards of losing players), is wrong.
The player in question (you can read it in the video) is player
'Willcho415'. If he can truly see the cards of his opponent, he would
not be a losing player at PokerStars, a fact that can be verified online
here:
