Is this normal for villains to bluff off their stacks like this ?

I wouldn't characterize SB's play as "normal", however it is one common course of action on a busted flush draw.
He can also represent a 7, or since the board is paired he can plausibly represent a full house.

I like your play, I think he missed played his hand. He didn't choose a good spot to bluff the river.

People do some crazy punts, I think if villain was going to make this line IMO he should have raised the your flop bet with a x/r then he could have represented a set or str8 as Vorpal suggested, villain just started to late.

I would not re-raise the turn. He would probably fold hands like he had.

I would like a raise on turn, make him pay for the nut draw and 2 overs, I would be lead to believe he would be calling with the nut draw...

With this hand and the QJd hand what is most apparent is how badly the sb in each hand played. A6o in sb is a clear FOLD pre, AJs is a 3 bet v button raising range, this would fold your weak unsuited ace and win a small pot instead of losing a big one.

If you would 3bet the turn it would be a all-inn and than you get only action of trips or better or villian is a fish.

Yes but there are rec players calling- think it is the most +ev play.. IMO but I do not know pool.

i think we could bet bigger on flop and turn. i think it is ok to call the turn raise vs unknowns it is my default i think without much reads. and yes i like the river call as well, fold is way too weak vs him and raise is not good at all, the board even worse now for you.

he might be on raise/fold with air also on this paired turn, so i think it is ok to just call and let him fire the river if he has just air.
