i deposited another $10, tilted it off within about 6 hrs playing time. i think its time to try a different strategy then depositing $10 at a time and grinding it up to a full bankroll. its time to save roughly $600 and play some nl25. maybe there i will actually care about stop loss and brm, maybe i wont...who knows. All I know is that im starting to lose interest in playing poker. its not fun when your not skilled and have to lose all your money.
I really think it's more of a mental game issue for you rather than a skill issue. ♦
However, $10 is really thin to try to build upon. It can be done, but you really got to care about every .01, and that's not easy once you've been playing for a couple years.
Taking a break is good, but not too long a break(I didn't play for ~6months and found it hard to come back with the same ROI- and that tilts me sooo bad)
Imo, dep. $40 - $50 and play sng's with a 30-50 BI rule and 5BI stopp-loss.
Turbos are faster, but regular speed are much easier(to start) imo.

Hey magic, if you prefer cash games, maybe you could save ~$200 to deposit & play as low as nl5 where you don't have to worry about your BR too much & just focus on playing your best.
Once you feel confident & are playing well, move up to nl10 with a comfortable roll & feeling good about your game 
Just a suggestion, maybe it could lower the stress of busting your BR & you can just focus on improvement

with such a small amount its hard to take the money seriously, but saying that its a great way to practice for cheap
When I had $10 in my party account I would play nl2 and buyin for 60 cents!! Its th reason I got into mss.

Ok. Im not actually quitting online for a while. I keep busting my account on zoom and looks like thats the other big leak. I moved over to party poker where I will begin anew. I dont need 200+ k people to play with and on zoom. Its just to addicting and i ALWAYS end up there. I always end up pissing whatever i have in my br away.
I deposited a $20 bill last night and grinded for a bit. Ended up in the black which is a good thing.
Having played in the welcome lounge (area for first time depositors to play) tells me I have 14 more sessions left of pure fish. That should be a good start to my partypoker career.
I just have to keep it fun and pray partypoker doesnt introduce zoom.

Had a couple bad hands and dipped down to $26 before calling it a night 2 nights ago. Got on last night and stacked off too light and dipped down to $17.
Gave my head a shake and said a couple motivational comments. Queue the rungood...
Got AA all in preflop 2 times IN A ROW!! Wow and ...won them both yes! The poker gods were loving me! Win win win was all i seen and i won 6 stacks up to $40!. Not even what i expected but I'll take it! Hands to be posted later. But I'm really starting to notice bad patterns in the regs. Theyre doomed if they keep playing against better players.

Yeah, thats the most humbling part of the game- knowledge is just knowledge unless I use it. I have a tendency to not know when to cut my losses and stop. I know I need to work on that and work on that HARD. It's my main focus right now.
I have read up to lesson 4 of the BSS NL beginner's course and watched several videos (no more then 20). Read and reread many many strategy articles. cant count or guess how many ive read 5 times. Never had a sweat session. had a few with my dad i guess but hes a bad sweat partner. Actively participated in ~10 coachings, because I rarely make the time for them (working on this too )
I've done roughly 100 hand evaluations, but i could be wrong. I just introduced to myself a new way of hand evaluations which will be very deep and very logical. you can see the new way of evaluation posts in my last post at the top. I'm basically reliving the hand and then writing all the info i can possibly think of for the coaches.
The main thing i can say is i keep going busto because of not following my goals and not having enough self discipline. these are all things that can be fixed with practice. I will not give up until i'm six feet under. I love the challenge of doing something very difficult which takes years maybe even a lifetime to accomplish. Poker is the perfect game for me.
The attitude just part of my personality. I think it helps me play the game better and live my life better. I wouldnt say it came in one day. It's something ive been actively working on since about 2010.
as for lifetime graphs, well a lot of the sessions were not played on a HUD at the beginning, then i used the elephant for the first little while. Then I upgraded to PT3. I can post some graphs as far back as i can go if thats ok? i dont know how this would help anyone however..tourneys and cash games only tho..no omaha graphs 
you dont wanna see those anyways. just picture the drop zone at canada's wonderland. it goes straight up , then straight down all in about 5 minutes lol.

Well I don't want to be rude or anything since i don't know your available time (I think you said 5h/day?), but it's seems to me that you didn't put a lot of time towards studying. If I'm reading it right, you basically watched 20 videos, read couple of articles from beginner course and attend ~10 coaching in 6 moths (ok, plus hand eval. of course)? I know we gain the most by playing but i think especially at the beginning we have to put more time in studying the game and of course then applying that to it. I don't see 1000 hours wasted as you mentioned in previous posts (if I recall correctly) but rather basis for a fresh start.
The reason I wanted to see graph is to see if you might be better at some type of game (cash vs tourneys) and stick to it, but tourney sample (even thou being more $+) is too small to say anything.
Now I don't know your BR right now, but did you ever think of trying to build your BR by playing SnGs? I keep hearing they are easier for BR building and if you get your BR to desired level, then you can switch back to cash if you feel like it. I really think trying to learn/win all type of poker (cash, tourneys, omaha...) at once is a mistake (for a beginner of course).
About self discipline... will you stop whining? ♦ Stop saying you have to... Just do it. Make plans and follow them. You can change them of course but not in bad ways so you can give yourself excuses for tilting. Maybe ask Schnitzelfisch or Jared to help you with that...
Now, again i hope i didn't offend you in any way and I certainly didn't mean anything bad by writing this. After all, I'm just as new as you to the poker world and i don't feel like a guy who has right giving poker career advices (you know, being at the beginning of my own) even thou i kinda did

ty for the constructive criticism. no offense taken. I was just trying to tell you a little bit about myself. Whining not intended. It is like learning how to spell in school, or learn a new language. you need to hear things over and over again until one day it just sinks in. now as you may have read, i am working the hardest on fortifying my mental game rather then my poker theory game. I feel I have the most to improve on in that area and i am aware of it is all i was saying. not trying to whine. I know that with practise and repetition this will come easy for me and i will be able to shut down the tables and have the sufficient amount of discipline needed to control my actions at the tables. I need to keep blogging about it so I know where I want to be. I did the same thing with folding. Now I know how to fold when I should fold, rather then stick it in and pray they dont have what i already know they have most of the time. I'm all about reading and watching people talk about mental game right now. its really my favourite subject of poker to date actually and its not even something i expected to feel good about!! I LOVE this game and all it has to offer. I hope you will continue to follow me on my path to poker greatness ♦

p.s. I've gone busto twice more since my last post. One for $40 and one for $22.
Not saying this is the one thats gonna make it work, but in all honesty i was uber tilted when i tried signing up for a rakeback offer at another useless rakeback site. It was either that or track my party account thru Ps.com. of course i chose the useless rakeback offer, and AFTER I deposited I find out that they have the same damn vip system as stars does.....useless and a misread on my part deffo. Lesson learned. i'm tracking thru PS.com from now on, or playing at stars. whichever I feel will work best. Right now i'm just going to play with my $30 they gave me today at everest. I'm super motivated to start racking up strategy points again. It's clear I cant afford to buy strategy points out of pocket. This will in turn make me play a lot better I hope.
I'm not posting results or hands or anything of that nature on here for a whole month. I think I've been too focused on the now rather then the long run. And worrying about single outcomes is too dangerous we all know this.

didnt go on tilt ...... 3 nights in a row?? wow. this is amazing! Let's hope I keep up the good work! Winning and playgood helps me stay off tilt obviousy though, plus my new motivation for playing my best to get as many strategy points as possible to uphold my upcoming silver status here.
the real test will be when i get a maniac at my table that gets 66 vs my AA all in preflop and just flops something nutty like 3457x , or a 6 right in the window. anyways yeah i dont look forward to that lol.
