How to get accepted to join SpinLegends

If you are looking to get staked by SpinLegends and climb the Spin & Go ranks, here are some preparation tips BEFORE you apply.

We get hundreds of applications every week to SpinLegends but sadly not all of them are successful. There are a lot of talented hard working players out there who probably could have made the team if they had only put a little bit more thought into how they prepared for it.

So with that in mind, this is what we recommend potential applicants do maybe a month before they apply, so they come into the application stage with the right mindset:

Play less tables

The chances are if you want to join SpinLegends that you are a low stakes player, and the traditional wisdom is that small stakes players should play lots of tables. 

At SpinLegends we take a different approach, our players start on less tables and only start to add more once they have got a good grasp of the fundamentals. 

It's not worth trying to grind out rakeback at low stakes Spins, much better to crush the one or two tables you do play instead. So get used to less tables and trying to maximise your edge in the few you play.  

Focus on ChipEV

The attraction to Spin & Go's come from the huge jackpots that a lucky few will win. This is what attracts recreational players to them but it is the wrong mindset if you want to take them seriously.

Once you are ready to apply, here are a number of tips to make sure your application stands out:

• Be honest (including in how many hours you can commit to Spins per week)
• Be as detailed as possible - a well written application can trump lack of experience or poor previous results
• Know that we are looking for players who can devote plenty of time to play and study
• Include recent graphs which include stats like evROI and chipEV 
• Let us know more about yourself and your goals (poker and otherwise) 
• Remember an application is not binding, you can send one in and still refuse to join us if you change your mind
