Hot Thread of the Week

goorukyong opened a thread this week on his latest plans to go to Phillipines together with juicequadre and joenaes. As if their plan wasn't interesting enough, they are also interested in having more PokerStrategist join their mission.

So, in the words of GooRukYONG himself: Do you love hot weather? Awesome beaches? Cheap B*** (Baseball caps??). If the answer is positive, head to the thread and check out the details. On the other hand, check out the thread anyway because it has some nice pictures in it and if it's winterish time at your place, it's always nice to dream about the warm places - power of

Poker Blog of the Week

It looks like it's among the blogs, it is among the blogs, but it sure is a different kind of "blog". This week's most attractive thread-slash-blog was opened by yaxkukmian, as he shared an immense amount of information and videos on one thing we love to see but mostly fail to do - poker chip tricks.

If you've been trying to become the Antonio Esfandiari of your home games with friends or have some other agenda, now is your chance to learn how to do tricks with poker chips. The blog is pretty large, so better plant a big hole in your schedule to have enough time to check it all out!

Performances of the Week

Most notable performances of this week were certainly varied. Ranging from nice tournament cashes to turning a microscopic bankroll into a nice-looking starting one. However, there also other events and milestones reached that clawed their way to the spotlight. Below are some of the latest accomplishments worth noting:

One Million in a Year - Total Winnings (Week 14): $228,183.45

The story of our yellow line continues well this week, as we added over $12k to our total winnings. We are now barely below the $230k mark and judging by the increased activity of some of the new PokerStrategists along with the "veterans" of our Milion in a Year goal, we are in a good spot to finally nail that million this time. Don't forget to post your tournament winnings in the thread, regardless of the amount of money you had won - it all counts!
