twicet is our community's celebrated poker hero, but also a modern Robin Hood of vodka, taking it away from the bartenders and giving to the thirsty and those eager to have fun. One of his latest accomplishments was winning the League of Champions, you can read all about his road to victory here.
With the introductory part to those of you not so familiar with TwiceT over, we can move on to his latest project - Team TwiceT. The idea behind this project is to give low stakes players a chance to improve their game and bring it to a whole new level.
With a huge interest in this project, there are no vacancies left on Team TwiceT (also known as TTT). However, don't miss your chance to follow the team and the latest happenings in it as well as lurk your chance to apply for it when the next opportunity arises. fusionpk is the blogger to watch out for, or should we say look for in the blogs section of the forum. Many newcomers to PokerStrategy.com will probably recognize themselves in his posts, as his poker frontier at the moment lies in the NL5 district.
He is looking for fellow poker players to help him fend off the fish attacks on NL5, so besides reading interesting updates in his blog, don't hesitate to also team up with him against the notorious, yet always loved amongst the sharks, fish of the poker tables.
All the way to the top? - It's all about volume (NL5 sweat anyone?)

Performances of the Week
Some week ago, atoks informed fellow PokerStrategists that he took part in a freeroll on PokerStars and managed to get to the final table, busting out in 5th place. Oookay, you might say, what's so special about this? The fact that this feat has added $40,000 to his pocket - that's not 4 cents written weirdly, nor $400 written incorrectly, that is indeed forty thousand American dollars.
Other members were highly successful this week as well, below are some of the most notable recent performances:
- snaker3 finished 2nd in a $50+$5 tournament on PokerStars for $12,912
- finished 1st in a $200+$15 Mixed Hold'em tournament on PokerStars for $2,960.
- cojonel finished 2nd in a 3k GTD Regular on PartyPoker for $407.65.
- Also congratulations to stevegold87 for finally catching a Royal Flush after 3 years of online poker and 5 years of real life poker.
One Million in a Year - Total Winnings (Week 12): $213,968.07
No, the graph is not broken, that yellow thing did jump up like Tony G's voice when Robl takes his time to play a hand (watch PokerStars Big Game for more info). This week looks like a fluke, but in fact, it's a result of PokerStrategists' hard work, so we can't really call it a fluke.
With several big cashes by our members and one huge cash, we managed to climb up like never before, almost scratching the bottom side of that ideal line we need to conquer if we wish to achieve the $1 million in a year goal. With a boost to our mission obvious, let's hope we will have more of such insane weeks in the future and remember, don't be shy to post your tournament winnings, no matter how small or big they are.
