Hot Poker Thread of the Week
How does your poker working station look like? In this week's hottest thread, you can post pics of your set up or take a look at the pics posted by other community members. hannesz started this thread and was also the first one to break the ice by posting pics of his three monitors, two keyboards and a mouse - poker seems to have evolved humans into six-eyed and five-armed money grinding machines!
If you are still playing in the singular mode (aka one monitor, one mouse, one keyboard), don't hesitate to share pics of your poker working station as well - for that matter the thread already has a few "singular-mode" pictures, featuring a monster 42'' monitor and a computer that kids used to play on when Doyle Brunson was still on his high school basketball team.
Poker Blog of the Week
's blog has been here for a while, in fact for a pretty long while, as he started it over two years ago. However, he seems to have come to the conclusion that it would be best for now to replace his poker sessions with a modified vacation - as he still has to work.
He will certainly make a comeback and until then, we can wish him best of luck and since we are doing the wishing thing now, we might as well add a wish that he finds the rest he needs as soon as possible, so that he may return to providing us with regular updates of his blog. In case you haven't read his hilly road, take a moment of your time to flip through the past pages and find out why his blog has so many followers.

This week saw newcomers who stumbled upon our community by mistake as well as those who knew where they were going. Either way, all of them were content to stick around, meet other PokerStrategists and learn poker along the way. Performances of the Week
It has been a great week for PokerStrategists, especially for those who play MTTs. There were several big cashes, including one for over $10k in prize money. While we couldn't add all of them, here are some of the most notable performances of the week:
- sismis won PartyPoker 20$ Freezout for $717.
- {communitylink=Enomai+level} added $2,092.08 to our One Million in a Year goal.
- added 3k in wcoop satelite wins to our One Million in a Year goal.
- won $10,465.04 in a 200 GBP rebuy live tournament.
One Million in a Year - Total Winnings (Week 5): $76,562.13
On the heels of Yoghi's big live tournament win as well as numerous great online results from our members, we have managed to accumulate over $75k in the One Million in a Year challenge thus far. The previous season of this challenge was perhaps missing some of these live wins as well, but now that we have the whole community stepping up a notch, it wouldn't be a crazy thing to say that the $1 million mark could be ours this time!
However, there is still a long way to go and while the $1 million mark may seem like a high goal, our strength is in numbers - so whenever you cash in a tournament, let us know so that we can add your winnings as well.
