PokerStrategy.com: How did you get into poker and where do you stand now?
braminc: I got into poker in 2004 when my father started telling me about this amazing new online poker thing. He was playing on PartyPoker and told me all about it and actually helped me get setup to deposit $50.
I immediately bought five David Sklansky books and started reading. I have never looked back since. Now I am in a very different place. I'm studying HU SNGs intensely, coaching FR/MT-SnGs and starting a non-poker business to build my future on.
PokerStrategy.com: How has poker influenced your lifestyle? Are you currently a pro?
braminc: It has greatly influenced my lifestyle in many ways. I have spent the past five years traveling almost constantly. I have lived in five cities in the US and two outside the US and taken many small trips in between. This is by far my favorite byproduct of playing poker.
Other ways it has affected my lifestyle include: Having a horrible sleep schedule, making lots of new, amazing friends from around the world (other poker pros) and using poker logic/strategy to make non-poker decisions in life which is very underrated in my opinion.
PokerStrategy.com: What are your goals with teaching? What can our members expect from your videos?
braminc: My teaching goals include debunking myths about ICM and tournament poker. There are many players who misunderstand the basic nature of tournament poker (especially in flat structures) and I aim to help correct that in my students.
In my videos you can expect a thoughtful, mathematical approach to understand SNGs. I won't simply tell you what the right play is in one hand. I will try to explain the thought process you should go through to make a correct decision so that you can apply it to any new situation you face.
PokerStrategy.com: Which of your skills are the most helpful when it comes to educating poker players?
braminc: My best skill as a teacher is being an avid student. I have been a student in school, in music, and of course in poker. All the while I tend to analyze what my teachers are doing that helps me learn better, and what other teachers are doing wrong that makes a student like me remain confused or in the dark.

PokerStrategy.com: What's the best way to learn poker as you see it?
braminc: I think the best way is to focus on a step by step thought process for analyzing hands. If you are thinking about the right things and asking yourself the right questions then you can begin to have a real mastery over the game.
PokerStrategy.com: What kind of content can we expect from you short-term, what are you planning long-term?
braminc: I plan to focus primarily on MT-SnGs in my PokerStrategy.com content, both short and long-term.
PokerStrategy.com: What is there to know about the person behind the screenname? Hobbies, Personality?
braminc: I'm a musician. That is my deepest passion and I spent my entire college career studying that. I also love sports, watching and playing. I've been a pretty serious tennis player my whole life.

braminc: Watch my videos and work hard on your game and you can become as strong (and rich!) of a poker player as you want to be!
