Full Tilt Poker De-Tracks All PokerStrategy.com Players

Full Tilt Poker has announced that it will retroactively de-track all players from their affiliates, including PokerStrategy.com. This unilateral move by Full Tilt will mean an end to affiliate rakeback and earning StrategyPoints.

Full Tilt PokerEven though the Full Tilt software and player database has been acquired by new owners, Full Tilt Poker has stated that they do not consider themselves to be liable for any previous affiliate relationships.

Therefore, all formerly tracked PokerStrategy.com community members - more than 485,000 in total - will have their tracking retrospectively removed by Full Tilt Poker. As a result, these players will stop earning StrategyPoints and receiving rakeback for their play on Full Tilt Poker.

The announcement from Full Tilt Poker was made on October 16th and between then and now, we have tried everything in our power to find a compromise that would at least see the tracking of existing players maintained. Despite us offering a drastic reduction in our commissions, the Full Tilt management has refused.

We are shocked that Full Tilt Poker, being under new management, would make a decision that will in our opinion directly harm the player base.

While we have been optimistic about Full Tilt Poker’s return, in spite of the drastic changes that a relaunched Full Tilt would bring to the industry's competitive landscape, we are now genuinely concerned that this might just be the first step in a process towards making online poker less attractive for players, in particular for those that take poker seriously.

If you share those concerns, you can discuss them in our forums here or contact Full Tilt Poker directly at support@fulltiltpoker.com.
