New on PokerStrategy.com: The Staking Forum
You now have the possibility to stake other community members or get yourself staked. We have created two new staking forums for you, just for that purpose.
What does staking mean?
If you stake someone, you basically provide the other player with a certain amount of money, in order to give him the chance to play in a tournament or cash game which he normally could not play, because his bankroll is too small for it. With this arrangement, the winnings are usually shared between both players.
Our new forum section should satisfy the community's demand and will give you the possibility to stake someone or get staked, all while keeping in mind a few basic rules. This gives you the chance to do so in a familiar atmosphere.
You can get more information and general tips regarding staking here
What do I have to watch out for?
There are three binding rules for the staking forum:
1) PokerStrategy.com does not take any responsibility for deals and staking between members.
2) PokerStrategy.com does not offer any help or support in the case of problems or fraud. This also means that we will not release any personal data of the potential perpetrator.
3) A member who wants to get staked has to open a separate feedback thread about himself in the Staking Discussion sub-forum, and create a link to it in the thread where he is asking to be staked.
