PokerStrategy Community Round-up
Welcome to the news round-up for the English Community (#6). Each week, EagleStar88 will keep you in touch with some of the most important threads within the forum together with some of the fun posts, so that you never need to miss them.
Our Community Round-up is your weekly source for all that happens inside the PokerStrategy forums. If you missed something last week and you still want to be in touch with our community, here are some of the most important posts. This is just one of many community-related projects being set up.
Thanks to gerv for notifying fellow members within the Partypoker thread.
Please see the News section of the website for other news from poker sites, including some nice promotions currently going on.
Thought it was about time to feature one of the Sit and Go blogs in our forum and we're actually spoilt for choice with some great blogs going at the moment, but this week I have chosen... drum roll... SNG blogz by community member miskokvo.
miskokvo started his blog in December with a nice and very detailed introduction. Throughout, yes I know it's 8 pages but believe me you will want to read it all, is a good mix of progress reporting, stats, pictures, music, humour & a strong willingness to help & encourage fellow members.
All in all a great blog and well worth reading. Keep up the good work miskokvo.
There could be no other hand worthy of a feature this week, than the Bad Beat Jackpot hand of olivierlu, see "Performances of the Week" section below for full details.

"You play too much poker if the first thing that you think when a vending machine gives you too much change is, "Cool, rakeback!".
You cannot fail to smile when reading mrmardybum's great introduction thread, it just has so much honesty and humour in it, great stuff.
You are very welcome here, as are all new members, and it's great to see you already active in the forums. Good luck and enjoy your poker.
As you may have seen from the comments on last weeks Community Round-up, olivierlu, a member from France but also a well liked and big contributor to our English community was involved in Party Pokers Bad Beat Jackpot recently.
olivierlu actually won the hand (sadly, if you know what I mean), but still picked up $23,000 as a consolation for being involved in the Jackpot hand. Not a bad days work. Many congratulations from us all.
In addition, our community amassed winnings of $5,520.43 this week.
