MTT Beginners Learning Path

As a newcomer to poker, your first aim is to quickly learn and start your career with a simple but profitable strategy.

Poker tournaments promise big money, however they are a very complex form of poker and require some know-how. In the following lessons, you can learn how you can best prepare yourself and the fastest way in which you can extend your know-how in tournament play.

Lesson 1: the basics of an SnG tournament

Lesson 5: a special type - the 180-man tournaments

The 180-man tournaments are basically a mixture between SnGs and MTTs. In an SnG, the number of players at the table who contend for the prize pool is limited.

In an MTT, the number of players is usually not limited beforehand; the game starts at a certain time and all the players who have registered by that time participate.
