What is the NL Beginners Course?
As you probably have already seen in our NL Beginners Course announcement news, the NL Beginners Course is a guided course through our No-Limit content, providing you with everything you need to jump-start your poker career.
How can I participate?
Joining in is very easy; simply visit the NL Beginners Course overview page, and follow the instructions there. In short, the activities during the course will comprise of:
• Creating your own Learning Thread at the Locker Room
• Going through the educational material (articles & videos)
• Visiting the live coachings
• Communicate with others on our forums
• Do the homework, and pass the Graduation Exam
Key points:
• New lesson will be added every monday, for the next 8 weeks
• Lesson 1 is already available!
• First coaching will be hosted by Veriz, and is going to take place today, at 21:00 CET
Homework and exams - how does it work?
During the course you will learn from a variety of our written content, our poker videos, our coachings, and our handevaluation facilities. In order to test and refine your newly acquired knowledge you will find homework after each lesson, and an exam quiz at the end of the course.
When you post the answers for the homework in your Learning Thread, you will receive an evaluation from one of our Course Coaches. This is one of the best ways to learn, as direct communication with coaches is most beneficial for your poker game. Once you're through all the material and are done with all the tasks, you can apply for the Graduation Exam, and upon successfully passing you can get your Graduation Badge.
