Blindsteals
from Unam1337
Today I want to introduce an across-the-board quiz because Trader and I covered the topic of steals in a coaching session recently. So, for those who visited the coaching this quiz is a repeat. It should be fine for those who didn't visit the coaching.
By playing very tight in the beginning of a tournament, we always assume that we have a tight image. So, while this point isn't mentioned in the quiz itsel, it is important for reaching a decision.
The type of opponent is classified by the description after the stack sizes.

Solutions
OK, rather than saying something about every situation, I will say something in general about each point and present a point distribution at the end.
Position: The later the better, ideal positions are the CO, BU and the SB.
Own hand: Good hands for stealing are hands with which we'll rarely be dominated and which provide us with easy decisions on the flop. At the same time, these hands should also have the ability to hit a flop so that we can go all-in on the flop. Suited connectors are quite suitable for stealing.
Stack sizes: We shouldn't be in the push or fold phase. The opponents behind us should neither be so short that they can easily repush us (15 BB should be seen as a rough border) nor have a large stack so that they can call us without any trouble.
The opponent: The more passive and careful an opponent, the better greater our change for a successful steal.
