Community Round-up: Play Hard, Party Harder?
KudlatyPL started a party on the forum this week. Meanwhile, a new from zero to hero blog is rising, as Mulatu is looking to become a successful tournament player. To make this week complete, our community has gained interesting new characters as well as seen successes, such as Atoks obtaining his Diamond status.

Hot Poker Thread of the Week
kudlatypl didn't waste his time beating around the bush nor lookin for pink rabbits on the forum. Instead, he decided to throw up a party for all the community members. After a miniature countdown from three to one, the flurry of party material was unleashed in his thread.
Among the first to sniff a party was . At first, he had absolutely no idea what the thread was about, but sure enough, he quickly got the hang of it. Others followed his suit and ever since, the thread has quickly grown to five full pages. If you are looking for a place to party hard the forum way, you can do in this week's hottest thread!
Poker Blog of the Week
As an unknown man once said to his unknown student - your efforts shall not go unnoticed! There were certainly numerous interesting blogs this week worth checking out. However, the spotlight has been directed at mulatu. After one month of playing poker, he has now started writing a blog on his experiences thus far, as well as keeping us up to date with the latest ones.
Game of his choice are SnGs and MTTs and he seems to be doing pretty well there. If you wish to track his progress, pick up something useful from it or just cheer for him from the bench, you can do so by checking out the poker blog of this week.
New Community Members this Week
Whether it was Belgium, Australia or England, our community has gained new members with all sorts of backgrounds this week. Some have already played poker recreationally and others are yet to play their first hand in poker. You can read their stories and greet them in our introductory section of the forum. Performances of the Week
We may still be missing some big wins from our members, but what they've accomplished this week is just as worth congratulating. After a lot of hard work and grinding, some of our members have managed to achieve goals they've been chasing for a while now. Meanwhile, some of our members won their first tournaments, and whether it be for $100 or $1,000, it's never easy to make it all the way to the champion's seat. Here are some of the best performances of this week:
- atoks got rid of his
Platinum rank icon and is now a 
Diamond member! - leito99 made his first "majorish" final table to win roughly $1,000 in the Nigthly Seventy Grand.
- gigelpintea won $86 for finishing first in PartyPoker's $2 regular tournament.
- bigniux made multiple cashes in various tournaments for a total of $3,967.05.
One Million in a Year - Total Winnings (Week 8): $100,834.45
With a shy last week, we have now had a solid week which has put us over the $100k mark. While our progress may not be soaring above the blue line of our mission target, we have to keep in mind that many of our live tournament winnings were not added in the previous two seasons. Hence it's important to keep on steamrolling towards our one million goal, as your current effort will make a difference once wins from tournaments such as WSOP kick in.
