The PokerStrategy.com VIP Tour 2013 touched down in London last weekend, with Diamond members, Black Members, coaches and staff enjoying an action-packed day.

First there was an extremely fun (if terrifying) paintball experience, then we had VIP treatment in one of London's most popular underground (literally, under the ground) clubs.

Thanks to all those who attended and made it a great day, and especially to marta for arranging everything. Check out the full story plus some pictures below.

Into battle!

VIPs had flown in from across Europe and we all met at Waterloo station, ready to board the train that would take us to Campaign Paintball.

Despite some transportation difficulties (resulting in tinolaan running really bad and stuck on a broken-down train), eventually a group of VIPs and staff including barrycarter were ready to get locked and loaded.

Of course, we were all a little less gung-ho when we were shown the group we would be paintballing with - all of them decked out in custom gear, clearly veterans; in addition one of them was dressed as Batman.

Fortunately, we ran above expected value and Team PokerStrategy.com managed to win both games of capture the flag - of course, I was cowering in the back like a frightened child, so I can't tell you exactly how that happened.

Several games later, the exhausted PokerStrategists made their way back to the city centre where a few hours later we were to be treated with VIP service at Covent Garden's Roadhouse restaurant and nightclub.

Here's where the narrative gets hazy, of course - the Roadhouse staff kept the beers coming so that we rarely had empty bottles in front of us.

What can be stated with certainty is that there was steak, plenty of beer, a lot of loud music, and at one point at least one round of shots before the group split up to either attack London's casinos or see the sights by night.
