New Community Members this Week
A big warm welcome to all new community members this week.
Included amongst them (sorry we cannot name everyone) are:
- abhorrence has started to play SnG's after reviewing some of the strategy material and has already had some great results;
- mmmtastyyy joined us on the 11th of November;
- commedesgarcons joins us from Canada.
We wish all our new community members every success and enjoyment with

Hot Thread of the week
The hottest thread this week, the one you've all been talking about was set up by community member sabo999 and discusses the latest online action by poker pro Durrr and a mystery Swede called Isildur1.
Sad Thread of the week
It used to be standing room only in the IRC (Group chat) channel. Numbers have been dwindling recently though, possibly as a result of the increased popularity of other forms of media.
It remains however a great place to find, chat to and rail fellow community members during tournaments or cash games, so why not keep community member tobycs company by popping in occasionally and saying hello. He's a friendly chap and I'm sure he'll be delighted to see you :o)
Community Manager Corner
As reported already elsewhere in the news, we are joined by two great new Community Managers. Both michaelm and hadi are keen to get to know members a little better so why not pop into the following thread and welcome them to our great community.
Performances of the Week
Some superb performances again this week, congratulations to all our winners/other performances, which included:
- Congrats to tac3znarf for achieving the cherished Diamond status;
- A superb performance from budzior in winning a $3.5k package to the Red Sea Poker Cup in Egypt. This live event package was achieved the hard way, through the satellites, congrats from all the community and good luck!;
- moneybo won Full Tilt's Early Double (B) and a $10 tournament;
- won both live events he had entered on the same evening;
- augustuscaesar was runner-up in a PLO tournament;
- Multiple cashes in MTT SnG's for paibhai, firestormx, advola & bolfa;
