Gus celebrates a $1.2 million upswing
In today's Daily Rewind we recap all of yesterday's SCOOP action and chart Gus Hansen's recent resurgence at the virtual felt.
Wilinofsky's SCOOP blunder
Last night's final flurry of SCOOP action saw a trio of champions crowned and many more fortunes made.
While a slew of Brits came to close to taking down Main Event titles, including pleno1 who hit the rail in 21st to claim $36,463, it was Ben Wilinofsky who caught the attention of the rail in the $10,300 finale.
Despite being the most accomplished player at the final table, hubris seemed to get in the way of Ben's decision-making skills when a six-way deal was proposed:

Following Ben's comical outburst, an ICM deal was struck in the high buy-in Main Event with just three players left.
Following the split it was Ivan 'vandir4rek' Soshnikov who took charge of proceedings by eliminating the UK's 'Better C4LL' and Peter Akery to claim his first SCOOP watch and $1,048,000.

DTD to welcome the WPT

| Another coup for DTD |
The UK's Dusk Till Dawn card club will host the next WPT Main Event in the UK according to its owner, Rob Yong.
The festival will not only feature a £500 WPT National event but a WPT Main Event with a prizepool of at least £1 million.
Costing £3,000 to enter, the Main Event is expected to draw a healthy crowd and to cope with the influx of players DTD will be erecting a marquee that will accommodate an additional 50 tables.
In total WPT UK 2014 will offer up at least £2 million in guaranteed prize money and anyone who can find their way into the top 50 finishing places in the WPT National event will win a free seat into the Main Event.
The dates for the festival are yet to be confirmed, but Rob Yong has said the action will take place at some point in November.
Major PT4 upgrade

After months of hard work behind-the-scenes the latest update for PokerTracker4 has just been released and it's a big one.
Pitched as a complete database redesign, the list of improvements is vast and incorporates a number of changes that should make process of importing and storing hands markedly easier.
In amongst the upgrades, PT4 version 4.11 users will find a more efficient stats system, support for iPoker tournaments, custom themes and greater functionality with PT4's PLO analysis system.
Downloading the update will take a while and the developers have advised users to only perform the task once they are finished playing for the day.

Another surge by Gus Hansen on Monday night saw him top the daily profit leaderboard for the second day in a row and break the $1 million profit mark. Following on from his $546,668 upswing on Sunday, Gus managed to bank a further $691,959 last night after dominating the likes of Phil Ivey and 'thecortster' at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables.
Stunned by the Great Dane's resurgence in the last 24 hours and left atop of the loss leaderboard was Phil Ivey. Despite grinding through 1,444 hands he was unable to move into the black and eventually logged off with a $282,594 deficit.
