Poker Blog of the Week
Another awesome blog for you to read this week. Community member verre recently travelled from his home in Canada down to a little place you might have heard of in the U.S. called Las Vegas (yeah Vegas baby!).
Reading the exploits of verre and his friends Miles & "4 dollar" Mike will really make your day. I couldn't help but chuckle at every twist and turn and as I write this, I see that "day 3" has just been blogged, so can't wait to read it. Judge Gerv: "I prefer raising to $1.25 preflop since you have to let him pay more to
play this hand. Also with a bigger size, you let him fold a lot more
preflop thus winning you the hand uncontested which is awesome as well!
As played, I push the turn as you said. I got a straightdraw +
flushdraw now which gives me as good as 30% winning chance. And you
already invest $2.5 into a pot of $5 (If he calls that's more) so you
are doing good here
