How Stats and Notes Can Really Improve Your Game

Statistics are very important in helping you determine your opponents tendencies before making decisions. The same goes for good note taking, but how do you use these powerful tools? Find everything you need inside.

Stats and notes help you keep track of your opponents play and use this knowledge to your advantage. It's a great idea to keep note of how often a guy folds to a continuation bet or look at the stats of how frequently player re-raises a button bet out of the big blind. Check out the stats, make the optimal play, take note, exploit them and build your roll.

How do stats help my game?

• Gives you a good idea in advance what villain is most likely to do so you can adjust your own actions
• Really helps multitabling because you have access to everyones behaviour at first glance

Why do I need notes as well?

Stats can be misleading if you do not pay attention to your game and your opponent's game. If you know your oponnent overbets the river 30% of a time - you still need to know if he's doing this with the nuts or with air - therefore you need notes to:

• Pick up on your oponents general habits
• Realise when your opponent makes a certain action with a certain hand
• Helps you to use this information to determine the proper course of action
