This Sit and Go Beginners Learning Path will be built up from different lessons each focusing on a specific topic. The backbone of these lessons will be a set of articles aiming to give you solid fundamental knowledge of the subject. Each lesson will be accompanied by a seminar which will require more interactivity. While not strictly related to the exact content of the lessons the goal of the seminars will be to reveal the infinite opportunities to further improve your knowledge at PokerStrategy.com, including watching videos, attending coachings, using the forums, completing quizes and a lot more.
This course will not turn you into a professional SNG player, but it will give solid basics on how to approach these games and teach you some of the fundamental concepts and a winning attitude. It will bring you from zero to a disciplined player who will not be an easy target for anyone. You can start playing with the basics you have learned here and if you want to further improve the knowledge you get here will provide solid fundamentals.

Before you get started with SNG strategy, you need to settle some basics. The most important part of this lesson will be Bankroll management. Variance is high in poker and even the best player in the world would go broke with a 100% chance if they didn’t manage their funds properly. Lesson 1: Early Stage - Preflop
The easiest and most important thing to learn is what hands do you play with. In this lesson we will provide you with simple charts that you can easily print out and instantly have a well funded poker game. Managing your betsizing to optimize risk/reward will be an additional topic.
Seminar 1: Introduction to Videos
In the first seminar you can get an overview of basic SNG Strategy in practice by watching our coach chenny8888 in action. You can also use our beginners video section anytime to enhance your learning curve.
Lesson 2: Early Stage - Postflop
Postflop play is very complicated in poker but we will keep it simple for you because in SNG’s simple works best. You will follow some easy guidelines, and learn the most important thing about poker: discipline. The way to a solid game starts with not doing anything „fancy”.
Seminar 2: Interactivity
You probably have a few questions by this time. Therefore the keyword here will be interactivity. Use our strategy forums to post your questions and our professional coaches and more experienced pokerstrategists will be ready to help you out. You probably also have played a couple of games so you must have had some spots where you weren't sure what to do. The solution is to post the hands to the Hand Evaluation forums and you will be provided with a professional analysis by one of our dedicated hand judges.

Lesson 3: Middle Stage – Steal/Resteal
For the middle stages we will extend your aresnal of weapons with one more tool: Stealing and restealing.
Seminar 3: Analysis
The more you know about how poker hands perform against each other or a range of different hands the more you will be able to fine-tune your stealing and restealing strategy. Experiment with our analysis tool Equilab to find all the answers you need. The more you practice the better.

Lesson 4: Late Stage - Push or Fold
Push folding is the essence of SNG’s. We will give you a starting point in the form of easy to use charts for it, but as they say practice makes perfect, so you should certainly fine tune your push fold skills in the following seminar.

Push folding is the essence of SNG’s. I know I told you that before, but it's never enough to emphasize that. The charts you were provided and hopefully printed out from the last lessons give a very good outline of the push-fold strategy but every situation can't be covered in charts. Therefore we created a tool for you that helps you analyze unique situations, and more importantly let's you practice in a simulated environment without risking anything.
