As many new members are posting their hands every day, here are last week's most interesting NL, SnG and FL hands.
Posting sample hands and trying to evaluate others' sample hands is
one of the best ways to improve your own game and to become a better

When a scare card comes on the turn, what are you supposed to do? You might have the best hand and there are still worse hands that would call your turn bet. But once you get raised there is no reason to believe that the player isn´t holding a better hand.
This is also interesting- what hand range could villain have if he c/c flop and turn and then leads out the pot on the river? Is overpair good there? Against a potsize bet it is probably better to fold.
The big question here is: would you choose to protect yourself against a draw and risk being behind?

This is a case where a flopraise would protect your hand. Also, you can call the turn to a raise and fold the river unimproved or you
bet/fold the river as you are not ahead often enough if he raises you
here.
This is a hand where ranges are important. A cold call would not be an option and given the average fold equity, a fold would not cost us too much if we are behind later on.

JJ is a very interesting hand. Here we show you a not-so-risky way of playing JJ that maximises the value from worse hands, while keeping us from doing something bad like turning it into a bluff or folding the best hand.
These spots happen to come up quite often in SnGs. We will explain here how to react to freeplayed TPNK in a multiway pot: treat your opponent with bet/fold on the turn for half potsize bet. However, on lower limits it would be better to check/fold the turn.
